Another video insight into Joyce’s Ulysses recorded at last month’s International James Joyce Symposium in Dublin. Cleo Hanaway of the University of Oxford (UK) dives into the influence early cinema styles had on Joyce and Ulysses. Did you know that Joyce once ran a movie house in Dublin?

    Yes I knew of James Joyce’s attempts to set up a cinema in Dublin, and that he ran into difficulties with it and consequently, the project, short lived.
