MTA2022 – review of award-winning apps – infographic

Mobile Trends Awards are behind us. This was one of the most important events of the year, eagerly awaited by the entire mobile industry. The jury had quite a task – the applications submitted for the main awards were, as every year, at a very high level.

Congratulations to all the winners, and to those apps that didn't make it – a place in the finals of the Mobile Trends Awards is also a big success.
In connection with the competition, we decided to prepare a brief summary of the awards Mobile Trends Awards 2022, Which we present in the form of an infographic. We are very pleased that not only the applications of the flagship brands have found recognition. Urban apps were appreciated, as well as apps that go beyond the common definition of LIFESTYLE (e.g. "PRAYER ON THE ROAD").

Among the winners of this year's awards we have representatives of the following categories: LIFESTYLE, FINANCE, GAME ARCADE, NEWS, SPORT and TRAVEL. There is very strong competition in the aforementioned categories – below is the TOP 10 ranking .

As you can see, 3 apps were in TOP 10 for Android and iOS, within its category. These were: mBank, OLX.en and application McDonald's Poland. TVP Stream is among the top apps of the NEWS category for iOS, far ahead of its competitors. This state of affairs should not surprise us in the case of the 71 TOUR DE POLOGNE app, which was closely linked to the sporting event.

During the tour period between 03 – 09.08 app was consistently in one of the first two ranking places within the NEWS category.
High positions of the OLX application.pl, McDonald's and mBank are associated with the strong promotion and the fact that the Meet the basic needs of users. The main audience of the McDonald's app is young people, who particularly value promotions and discounts. More often this app is downloaded by Android users than by iOS users, which can be clearly seen by the number of ratings and comments left by users in the stores.

For iOS it is only 92 while for Android it is close to 16,000 with the majority of positive ones. From the point of view of appmarket positioning, the app deserves special recognition MOBILE RETHINK. In both the Appstore and GooglePlay, the app achieved a high VISIBILITY INDEX score: 8.7 and 7.8 respectively.

Among the winners, the highest rating for Android was achieved by the mBank app (9.4) and PRAY ON THE ROAD (9.3). On the other hand, the best-positioned apps in the Appstore next to MOBILE PREMIUM are McDonald's (index 8.4) and OLX.pl (8.7). VISIBILITY INDEX describes the level of difficulty of reaching the app via the app market search engine (scale min.

1 – max. 10).
In the case of the OLX app.pl users appreciate ease of use. Similar opinions are repeated for other app winners. OLX users.pl negatively refer to problems with search, as well as moderation of ads. McDonald's app users, on the other hand, appreciate the regular expansion of the pool of available discount coupons.

At the same time, they would like to receive up-to-date information about venues e.g. Concerning the interruption of operations due to renovations. In their comments, users of the TVP Stream application point to the need for more frequent updates related to the arrival of new devices on the market and new versions of operating systems.

The most enthusiastic feedback comes from the app PRAY IN THE WAY.
